With a handful of Free Dwarf units ready for the table, we’ll inexplicably take this moment to set myself back a bit, by grabbing a few units for a bespoke demo list, and highlight that here for a moment.
I’ve been keeping my demos to 600 points, so that is what we have allotted for here. Small lists are always a little awkward, but overall, my various offerings at my Demo Days seem to have done a good job at highlighting an army’s themes and strengths, and this one should be fun while avoiding some of the potential “feels-bad” moments of the Imperial Dwarf demo list that I run currently.

For this, we have a basic Captain as the Champion, around to Inspire and maybe fight, some Crossbowmen to show off the Aim rule while still being able to move-and-shoot, the Ironclad to be a basic unit, and then my metal, dad-bod Mantic Berserkers as two troops as some fun picks. While the exploits of this demo list won’t be covered in any detail, we'll hopefully be making more progress with the rest of the army in the coming weeks, with full reports coming as soon as I can throw together a legal list.
